Looks like I'm still far from getting a regular job. Still writing school papers at home. But I can't mope forever on little pay until I get a better job, so I still get some time to push pencil onto the paper.
I've been revisiting old characters of mine again, especially Biohawk, a character I invented in 1987. His look then reflected my fascinations at the time, such as interest in Maximilian armor and shoulder-mounted gatling gun and cannon (something which appeared on War Machine AFTER I invented Biohawk). Out-of-Work Blues

It's been four months since my lay-off from Radio Philippine Network or RPN 9. I'm back to my older home-based job of writing research papers, one which generates only a fraction of my income from RPN 9. With my savings depleted, I'm back to reaching the end of my rope before each payday. I think I made the mistake of agreeing to expenses that I could hardly maintain, including having a credit card and getting a Sunlife plan. And now I'm getting into debt.
I'm also back to work which is backbreakingly difficult, that I have to work every day to make deadlines. Even if I start early, the work is so tedious and time-consuming that I spend so m
